The Traffic Commission is empowered to promote, review, amend and enforce traffic regulations to control vehicular and pedestrian traffic within the City of Findlay. The Traffic Commission reviews crosswalks, safety and school zones, traffic lanes, turning lanes, loading zones, traffic signs and signals, designation of one-way streets and alleys, hazardous intersections and parking restrictions.
The Traffic Commission meets on a monthly basis. City of Findlay Codified Ordinance 305.02(d) governs the operation of the Traffic Commission.
Submit a Request
To submit a request for consideration by the Traffic Commission, please send an email to TrafficCommission@FindlayOhio.gov. Please include the following:
- your name
- your address
- your phone number
- your email address
- a detailed narrative of your request
If your request is to eliminate parking or change a traffic pattern on a street, signatures of approval from more than 75% of the property owners along the street are required.
The deadline for requests is 5:00 p.m. the Monday prior to the meeting.
