The Court will perform marriage ceremonies as long as one party to the ceremony is a resident of Hancock County, Ohio.  Ceremonies must be scheduled in advance and there is a non-refundable $50.00 fee that must be paid at the time of scheduling.  Scheduling questions may be directed to one of the Judicial Assistants at (419) 424-7144.

Both parties shall bring a photo ID along with their marriage license to the ceremony.  Proper dress code is required of all attendees.

Prior to the wedding, you must pick up your marriage license from the Hancock County Probate Court located next to the Findlay Municipal Building in downtown Findlay. On the day of your wedding you will need to arrive at the Administrative office (room 208 of the Findlay Municipal Building) a few minutes early so the paperwork can be processed.
