Judge BishopJudge Stephanie M. Bishop was appointed by Governor DeWine to serve on the Findlay Municipal Court Bench beginning in April 2021.  She was elected in November 2021 to serve the remainder of the term.  In 2023, Judge Bishop was re-elected for a second term.  Prior to being appointed, Judge Bishop served as an Assistant City Law Director for the City of Findlay for ten years and was a partner in the law firm of Hackenberg, Feighner, Bishop & Werth, LLC.  Judge Bishop also previously served as an Assistant City Law Director for the City of Fostoria, was a Partner of Wykes Law Offices, Ltd. and was an Associate at Crow Law Offices, Ltd.

Judge Bishop was born and raised in Arlington, Ohio and graduated from Arlington High School.  She received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Findlay and her law degree from Ohio Northern University.  Judge Bishop has three children and five grandchildren.  Judge Bishop and her family live in Findlay and are proud to call Findlay and Hancock County home.
