Alan D. HackenbergJudge Alan D. Hackenberg was appointed by Governor Kasich to serve on the Findlay Municipal Court Bench beginning in April 2017.  He was elected in November 2017 to serve the remainder of the unexpired term and re-elected again in November of 2021.  Prior to being appointed, Judge Hackenberg served as an Assistant City Law Director for the City of Findlay for over 22 years and was a partner in the law firm of Hackenberg, Beutler, Rasmussen and Feighner, LLC.  He also served as the Village Solicitor of McComb, Ohio for over 6 years.

Judge Hackenberg was born and raised in Findlay, Ohio and graduated from Findlay High School.  He received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati and his law degree from Ohio Northern University.

Judge Hackenberg is married and he and his wife have two children.  Judge Hackenberg and his family live in Findlay and are proud to call Findlay and Hancock County home.
