The City of Findlay Storm Water Management Division is designed to protect water quality and reduce the discharge of pollutants from the municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) into the surface receiving waters of the state of Ohio.
Development and implementation of a Storm Water Management Plan (SWMP) is required of the City of Findlay to obtain coverage under Ohio EPS’s NPDES general permit to discharge storm water from the City’s MS4. This general permit is required for compliance with the provisions of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251 et. seq.) and the Ohio Water Pollution Control Act (Ohio Revised Code Chapter 6111).

Please call 419-424-7121 to report any illegal dumping into the storm water system which include all curb and yard catch basins, any creeks or swales that flow to the Blanchard River. Remember that material that is put into a catch basin is not treated and goes directly to the receiving streams.
