Sewer Maintenance UnitThe Sewer Maintenance Unit is a division of the Sewer (Water Pollution Control) (WPCC) and consists of dedicated team of twelve employees who maintain the sanitary and storm sewer collection systems throughout the City of Findlay and the surrounding area. The Sewer Maintenance Unit, along with the WPPC Department play an integral role in keeping the residents of safe when the Blanchard River floods, working tirelessly to barricade and close flooded streets.

The sanitary sewer system has over 17,000 customers and consists of approximately 304 miles of sewers as well as several thousand manholes.

The storm water sewer system consists of approximately 6,400 catch basins plus an unknown number of miles of sewers and manholes.
