The City of Findlay is performing numerous construction projects throughout the city, weather and contractor schedule permitting for the status of some of the projects. Listed below are some of the projects and the restrictions that result from the ongoing projects. These restrictions are in effect from July 22-26, 2019.

S. BLANCHARD STREET – Sandusky St. to South St. – The two northbound lanes of S. Blanchard St. will be closed to all traffic. During the closure the southbound lanes of S. Blanchard St. will serve as the travel lanes for southbound traffic only. Southbound traffic on S. Blanchard St. will also be prohibited to urn eastbound onto E. Sandusky St. Residents and businesses within the area will still have access to their respective drives, but will experience some delays when crews are working in front of the property.

S. BLANCHARD STREET & LINCOLN STREET INTERSECTION – The intersection of Blanchard St. and Lincoln St. will be closed to all traffic at all times for waterline installation through July 26. A detour is set up to help direct traffic around the closure.

SIXTH STREET – Eastview Dr. to Burson – Will be reduced to one lane between the two blocks. A temporary traffic light will be set up to direct traffic through the construction zone.

Avoid these blocks if possible. Short delays are expected in these areas over the next week.
