Road Construction News

Construction Project Update May 13-17, 2019

The City of Findlay is performing numerous construction projects throughout the city, weather and contractor schedule permitting for the status of some of the projects. Listed below are some of the projects and the restrictions that result from the ongoing projects. These restrictions are in effect from May 13, 2019 to May 17, 2019.

W. SANDUSKY ST. – Cory Street to Western Ave. – The eastbound lane of W. Sandusky St. will be closed during the week, to allow crews to work on curb replacement. W. Sandusky St. will be ONE WAY westbound. Eastbound traffic will need to follow the detour around the closure.

STANFORD PARKWAY – Westfield Dr. to River Rd. – will be closed to through traffic during working hours for waterline replacement.

E. FOULKE AVENUE- Blanchard St. to Rail Road Tracks - will be closed to through traffic on May 13th for asphalt repaving.

DAYTON AVENUE- Balsley Ave. to Tiffin Ave. - will be closed to through traffic on May 13th for asphalt repaving.

SUMMIT STREET- Lima Ave. to Lima St. - will be closed to through traffic for curb replacement.

WOODWORTH DRIVE- Fostoria Ave. to cul-de-sac - will be closed to through traffic for curb replacement.

HURD AVENUE- Lima Ave. to Stadium Dr. - will be closed to through traffic for curb replacement.

Avoid these blocks if possible. Short delays are expected in these areas over the next week.
