Riverside Park, originally opened in 1906, has the notoriety of being Hancock County’s oldest park and is located at the site of the old Water Works Park. Renovations were a cooperative effort between The City of Findlay and Hancock Park District.
The City of Findlay owns and manages Riverside Park. The City of Findlay oversees the bandshell, field diamond - lighted, grills, pickle ball courts, enclosed shelter house, shelter houses with picnic tables, playground equipment, shuffle board courts, corn hole boards, volleyball courts, restrooms, and Riverside Swimming Pool.
The Riverside Park Waterfront area is managed and maintained by the Hancock Parks District. The Hancock Parks District oversees the waterfront area which includes: waterfalls pavilion, trail system (walking path), overlook deck, fishing area, public boat launch with paddle boats & canoes, and dam area (waterfalls).
